About Us
Welcome and Thank you for your interest in ana k.
ana k began its quest when my baby girl, Ana, was born. In response to emerging concerns about toxic toys, harmful plastics and synthetic clothing (a skin irritant) I stopped at nothing to make sure she was going to wear and use the safest and most gentle baby products. Having already adopted an organic lifestyle personally, and while striving to keep her healthy and happy, I wanted to ensure she inherited an equally healthy and prosperous planet.
I established ana k with health, safety, sustainability and style in mind. I concentrated my efforts on affordable organic or 100% cotton clothing with style -- eco-friendly products, sustainable, recyclable, you name it... and "Made in the USA" when possible.
Organic clothing offers an alternative to the synthetic fibers and dyes that can often irritate babies’ sensitive skin. At the same time, organic growing protects our waterways from the pesticides and chemical runoff of conventional farming. Even many of the designs chosen are inspired by cultural representations of nature.
